Gone Campin'

This past weekend we went camping with 2 other families in our neighborhood. What an awesome time. The place was really nice and really clean. There was alot of activities for the kids and our site was right on The Delaware. The kids had so much fun, swimming, tubing and fishing right on the river. On Friday night it rained and it didn't even phase us. We donned raingear and kept right on with the party. Here are some pics from our weekend:

1st Official Day of Summer Break

Can you hear Alice Cooper singing in the background??!! Today is our first day of summer break. No more alarms, no more homework, no more running from here to there and back again. Ahhhhh, time to relax and enjoy swimming, playing, staying up late, parties, and plain old fun. I'm so lucky to be able to enjoy these days with Jake and friends.

Yesterday, after I picked Jake up from his last day of school, he came out of school and started to tear up. He said he was going to miss everyone and that he really liked school. I tried to explain how we will invite his classmates over to pool parties and reminded him that summer will be over before we even know it. This made me sad as it is all too true.

Blue Claws Game

Last Friday we went to the Blue Claws Game. It was really nice. Lots of activities for the kids, clean stadium. Lots of fun! What's summer without a little baseball....

The B Family can never ever move or else they will have to take Jake with them. If he isn't at their house, P is at ours...and what a good kid he is. I couldn't ask for a better friend for Jake...:)
