We had kittens...

but they are gone now...the mommy cat must have moved them after all the noise in our yard this past

weekend. At first I had thought there were only 3 but there

were actually 4. One black & white, one orange and 2 gray striped. I did get a few pics of 2 of them one day last week. They were so cute...too bad they grow into cats...I'm so not a pet person! ;)

Playing with my camera

I see people take such beautiful closeup shots. I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I have no clue about F-stops and apetures or whatever the heck! Here are some shots in my yard

Mad Money: Queen Latifah, Katie Holmes and Diane Keaton...very funny. I just love Diane Keaton.

27 Dresses: Cute chick flick. I can't get past Katherine Heigl as anyone but a Grey's gal but she does a good job in this movie, too.

Ps, I Love You: OMG! This movie had me in tears from beginning to the end. An awesome chick flick and I highly recommend it. Hilary Swank is just so cute. And for any Grey's fan, Denny (remember him??) is looking oh, so good in this one! :)

Friday Night Date

at 6:30 pm, my baby boy went on his first "date". S and her mom came and picked him up for dinner and a movie! it was pretty funny when she called and he asked if he could go with S to the movies. I said "Do you want to go?" And he screamed "YES!!" So they said they would be by in about 10 minutes to pick him up. Jake got his sneaks on in a flash, sweatshirt on and then proceeded to pace the floors like an expectant father. He kept looking out the window, opening the door..just to check if they were here yet. I told him to get away from the door and stop looking desperate! I told him to be a good boy and not to talk in the movies, Moose gave me a "Come on!" look, and so I said "Well, you can whisper but don't talk loudly." To that Jake said "Oh, I'll just whisper sweet nothings in S's ear!" then he said "but I don't know what sweet nothings are!" Too funny and so cute!
