13 years!!

Today, Moose & I have been married for 13 years....seems like yesterday! :)

Jake's Jacuzzi Bath

In mom-mom's room there was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Mom-mom used 3 mini bottles of bubble bath, not realizing that once the jets went on, the bubbles would expand! Jake had a blast playin around the tub after a long day of waterparking, magiquesting, & shopping...

The Great Wolf Lodge

Well, everyone was right!! What a fabulous place! It was so much fun and so very exhausting.. Between the Magiquest, the waterpark, the arcade, the cool suite we stayed in...there was just so much to do! We definitely had a blast and will definitely to go back! :)

Thanksgiving Morning Surprise

Jake lost his first tooth! :) And the Tooth Fairy came all the way to The Great Wolf Lodge to reward him....:)

R U Thoughtful??

How thoughtful are you? Do you do anything for someone just because? I can proudly say I do. And my thoughtfulness has rubbed off on my son. There was a recall on Aqua Dots this past week. My beautiful, thoughtful son told Moose to call his friend S and tell her about the recall because he knew that she received Aqua Dots for her birthday this past weekend. Moose was hesitant, as anyone would be...hey, maybe they (S's parents) already heard it on the news, just like we did...maybe they would hear it from someone else...maybe! Moose said "Jake, do you want me to call S's daddy?" Jake said "YES!! Please call!!" So Moose made the call...S's Daddy did not hear of the recall and said "Thanks for letting us know. " Moose said " No, don't thank me, thank Jake!" My thoughtful son! I'm so very proud that he was thinking of his friend. So proud that I am raising a thoughtful person.


So, my question to you, dear blog readers...when was the last time that you were thoughtful? When was the last time that you did/said/ showed some kind of thoughtfulness JUST BECAUSE! For no other reason, for not expecting something in return??!! My hope is that you read this today and do something thoughtful. Show a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) to someone in your life. Trust me, you will feel good for it and maybe, just maybe a RAK will come your way sometime very soon...but if it doesn't, so what?? You still did your part in making someone's day just a little bit brighter, safer, happier today! :)

Now for some bad news

For anyone who reads my blog...I need some prayers...my aunt Joanne was diagnosed with cancer this weekend. She has cancer in her ovaries and in her belly and possibly her colon. She is being moved to another hospital as I wrote and we will find out more tomorrow after some tests are done. Mom went to visit her yesterday and she is in good spirits and ready to fight!

Please keep her in your prayers! Thank you.....

Let's Scrap~~LBI

This past weekend, I went to a fabulous scrapbooking crop hosted by my friends Gail & Karen. It was the best crop, EVAH!!! It was in LBI, NJ and was right down the block from the beach. I love the beach~winter, summer, spring fall~~no matter what the season...the sound of the waves and the overall feel of the shore just calms me. I sure I was meant to be a surfer girl! :)

We had so much fun, so many laughs and I even learned a couple of new words! :) Thanks for a wonderful time, peeps! :)
